In most cases League football, including BFL, adopts the standard game i.e. 11 players on either side, playing on a pitch that meets FIFA's minimum requirements of 90m x 65m pitch, with a large goals - 2.4m high and 7.3m wide. Match times are 60m for players under 17, and 90m for 18 and above.
Over the last two weeks the BFL team has been busy repairing it's first dedidacated football pitch in Maribojoc. The pitch hasn't been used in nearly 15 years. Under the swelterig heat the team have been digging out dangerous rocks that appeared through years of little use. The grass has been cut, the carabaws and goats have been moved, new soil has filled the holes, and ground compacted and the grass patched up, and the white lines have been carefuly measured and painted
At BFL we play Standard Football, and it's what makes the League unique, as it is one of the few competitions that plays the standard game in the Philippines.
